Description

31 and 33 High Street are early 18th-century cottages. They are timber framed, with sections that are roughly rendered and weatherboarded, topped by a red plain tiled roof that has an outshot at the rear. The cottages are two storeys high and feature a two-window range of 18th-century small paned horizontal sliding sashes on the first floor, and 18th or 19th-century small paned casements on the ground floor. There are plain boarded doors on the left and right, each with small slanting canopies and brackets above. A central red brick chimney stack is present.
