Description

Wey Cottage and No. 25 are early 18th century cottages located on Bury Street in Guildford. They are timber framed and covered in whitewashed roughcast, sitting on a plinth where the ground slopes down. The cottages have a plain tiled roof that is hipped at the right end. They are two storeys high, featuring brick dentilled eaves and end stacks. Each cottage has two 3-light casement windows on the first floor and two windows below. The panelled door for No. 23 is on the left and is accessed by three steps, while there are older doors, possibly original, to the left and right of the centre. The left-hand return front reveals the exposed end framing of the roof.
