Description

23 and 25 High Street are a pair of cottages dating from the early 18th century. They are timber-framed with a painted brick ground floor and a rendered first floor that features a timber string course. The cottages have a steeply pitched plain tiled roof with end stacks. They are two storeys high and have a slightly irregular two-window front. The first floor has sliding casements, while the ground floor features glazing bar sash windows. In the center, there are two 19th-century panelled doors, each with architrave surrounds, applied pilaster mouldings, and flat hoods supported by brackets.
