Description

No 1 High Street is a house dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of painted brick and features a hipped plain tiled roof with two ridges that run at right angles to the road. At the rear, there are two red brick chimney stacks. The building has two storeys and a regular two-window front, with glazing bar sash windows. The entrance is a panelled door located off-centre to the right, set within a wooden doorcase that includes reveals and stone pilasters topped by brackets, as well as a shallow flat hood.
