Description

This is a pair of houses built in the early 19th century on the south side of High Street, Aylesford. The front is constructed of red and blue brick laid in a chequered header bond pattern and features a moulded wooden cornice supporting a plain tiled hipped roof with end stacks. The three-storey facade has a symmetrical two-window arrangement with two octagonal bays rising through all three floors. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars, some using a variation of margin-light glazing. The paired doorways, slightly off-centre to the right, have panelled doors and overlights. The doorway to the left has decorative detailing, set within paired architraves, applied moulded pilasters, and a continuous shallow entablature hood.
