Description

39 High Street is an 18th-century house constructed of gault brick, topped with a hipped grey slate roof. The building stands two storeys high and features pilaster strips on both the right and left sides. It has a three-window arrangement with small-paned, double-hung sliding sashes that have stone cills and gauged brick arches above them. The central window on the first floor has a round head and arch. The entrance is marked by a central six-panelled door set within a recessed round head surround, topped with a round head leaded fanlight. There are gault brick chimney stacks on both the left and right sides of the house.
