Description

No. 51 High Street is a cottage from the 18th century, attached to Nos. 53 and 55. It features a painted brick front with a timber-framed and plaster core, and has a hipped roof covered in grey slate. The building is two storeys high and has one window range with small-paned double-hung sliding sashes from the 18th century. There is a central band and a six-panel door to the right, which is topped by a round brick arch and a well-crafted round-headed fan light. A central chimney stack made of gault brick is also present.
