Description

Pit Cottages are early 18th century cottages constructed with a timber frame and faced with red brick. They feature a thatched roof and have two storeys plus an attic. The windows are scattered and consist of casements with glazing bars, set beneath segmental brick arches. There are four dormers, also with casements and glazing bars, and five brick stacks.
