Description

Woodlands is a house dating from the late 16th or early 17th century. It is constructed of English bond brick, with a gabled thatched roof and rendered brick end stacks. The house originally comprised two rooms, with a two-window front. The front features flat rendered arches above a mid-20th century half-glazed door, flanked by windows. The interior was not inspected, but is noted to contain a stop-chamfered ground-floor beam and a collar-rafter roof. It is considered an early example of a vernacular brick dwelling.
