Description

The Old Post Office is a house dating from the late 16th century. It features a timber frame and plastered exterior, topped with a red plain tile roof. The building has two storeys and single storey lean-to extensions at both ends. The front has three windows, which are late 19th century vertical sliding sashes. There is a central doorway that has a flat hood supported by cast iron brackets. A red brick chimney stack is present. Inside, the original frame is still intact, along with a side purlin roof.
