Description

The Old Forge is a house that dates back to the 16th century and has been altered over time. It features a timber frame with plaster and a facade made of yellow stock brick. The roof is covered with red plain tiles and the building has two storeys. There are two rear wings, one of which jetties out at the end. The main part of the house has an L-shaped plan and includes two window ranges with casements and a central doorway. The ground floor windows have segmental heads, and there is a dentilled eaves course. The property is also adorned with red and yellow stock brick chimney stacks.
