Description

Mead View is a house built in the late 17th century. It features a timber frame with plaster and has decorative fake timbers on the exterior of the first floor. The roof is made of red plain tiles and the house is two storeys high with two bays and a central chimney bay. There are two windows, which are late 19th century vertical sliding sashes with glazing bars, along with small paned casements. At the rear, there is a 19th century parallel range. The original red brick chimney stack has been partially rebuilt at the top. Inside, the original frame and ceiling joists are exposed.
