Description
The White Hart Public House dates to the 15th century and has undergone later alterations. It is a timber-framed building, now plastered, with a red plain tile roof. The two-storey structure has a four-window range to the first floor, featuring 2-light casements and one vertical sliding sash window with glazing bars. A 20th-century brick porch has been added. On the ground floor, there is one casement window and two semi-hexagonal bay windows with flat tops and vertical sliding sashes with glazing bars. A flat canopy is supported by brackets over the doorway. Internally, some of the original timber framing is exposed, including ceiling joists and bridging joists.
