Description
Lychgate House, located on Church Street, is a building dating from 1767. The north front, which faces the churchyard, is believed to be from the 16th or 17th century and features some pargetted panels. The ground floor is weatherboarded, while the first floor is finished in stucco, and the building has old tiled roofs with a gable on the right. It is two storeys tall, with most of the first floor oversailing. The ground floor includes two closed windows and a sash window on the right, all with glazing bars, a canted central bay, and slim pilasters flanking the window on the left. The first floor has two flush sash windows and two half-glazed doors. The south elevation facing Church Street has two small windows and an attic window on the left in the gable.
