Description

No. 2 Church Street is a building from the 15th or 16th century that has been altered over time. It features a colourwashed roughcast front and a steeply pitched old tiled roof. The building has two storeys, with the first floor overhanging on a beam that has a carved patterned fascia. There is a 19th-century shop with steps leading up to the door, and a cellar door located beneath the window. To the left, there is a carriageway, and some weatherboarding extends to the ground floor of a low two-storey back wing. The first floor has two flush sash windows. Nos. 2 to 4 Church Street are part of a group of buildings.
