Description

No. 1 Bargate is a building from the 18th century, with some 19th-century alterations. It is two storeys high and has a roughcast exterior. The roof is covered with interlocking tiles. On the first floor, there is one window featuring a modern casement. The ground floor has a small bay window with a shop fascia above a double door that consists of four panels, along with a small rectangular fanlight. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 1 to 13 (odd) and the premises occupied by P Oliver.
