Description
These are a group of early 19th-century buildings on Bridge Street. They are composed of three storeys and built of coursed rubble, with four brick stacks. Number 24 has three windows, featuring glazing bars. Number 22 has a plain front door with a rectangular fanlight, although the door has been replaced with a modern one in the center. Number 24 includes a two-storey penticed extension to the left, with a hung sash window with glazing bars to each storey. A later window is visible on the base of a former bow, incorporating a frieze. The door is made of six panels and has a blocked fanlight. Numbers 22, 22A, and 24 are designated as a group with numbers 8 and 9 Cornforth Hill.
