Description

No. 2 Ballygate is an early 18th-century building that has undergone some alterations. It is two storeys high and features two gabled dormers. The exterior is finished in painted stucco and has a roof covered with machine tiles. On the first floor, there are near-flush frame sash windows with bars. The ground floor includes an early 19th-century shop window with a wooden case and vertical glazing bars. There is a central entrance door with a massive frame, and a living room window that matches the shop window. The building has a stone cope. Nos. 2 to 14 (even) form a group.
