Description
Aldershot Manor House, located in Manor Park, dates from around 1670 and the early 18th century. It is a three-storey building with a main north front featuring a layout of three, one, and three windows. The exterior is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond, accented with blue headers. It has a deep parapet that is panelled above the windows, three decorative bands, cambered arches, and a plinth. The windows are sash style. A central brick porch includes cambered arches for the side windows and a recessed doorway, topped with a stepped gable that has been altered to a flat roof.
The rear (south) elevation has a layout of two blank windows and one, two windows that match the front but reveals a five-unit hipped tile roof. The west front has been newly renovated in a Georgian style, featuring one, two windows and a pediment roof on brackets above the doorway. The east front has a projecting central unit with blank windows and incorporates chimney stacks, along with a porch designed in a modern style.
