Description

The Church of the Holy Trinity, located on Albert Road in Aldershot, was built between 1875 and 1878 and is notable for being the first church constructed in the new town by architect Sidney Stapley. The church features a simple design consisting of a nave with five bays and a chancel with two bays, presented in a straightforward Early English style. It has a steep slate roof with finials on the gables. The walls are made of coursed rubble stone with ashlar dressings, and there are buttresses and a plinth. The windows are primarily triple lancets, complemented by a large Geometrical window in the western gable. The west porch is adorned with moulded arches, while the north porch is designed in a simpler style.
