Description
Aldershot Town Hall, built in 1904 by C E Hutchinson, features a symmetrical facade with a central block of three storeys flanked by two-storeyed wings. The building has a hipped slate roof with a bell-cast design and wide eaves, along with a central slatted wooden turret and prominent chimneys. The wings display a rendered upper floor, a stone band, a brick ground floor, and a deep stone plinth. The central block is constructed of Bath stone and includes a wide-arched doorway. Above the first-floor band, there are decorative panels between the windows and an elaborate centerpiece topped with an arched canopy. The windows are sashes set in reveals, while the ground floor windows feature arches with keystones. The side and other elevations are designed in a similar style.
