Description
Falkners is a house that dates back to the 16th century or earlier. It features a timber frame with plaster and black weatherboarding on the south gable wall and the east wall of the lean-to. The roof is gabled and covered with peg tiles, and there is a modern gabled porch on the west side, along with a flat-roofed, tile-hung dormer over the lean-to. The house has various modern casement windows with small panes and two red brick stacks along the ridge line. Inside, part of the frame and floor joists are exposed, and there is a timber arched doorhead from the old Rookwood Hall positioned above a fireplace.
