Description
No. 37 North Hill is a building dating from the 17th century or earlier. It is timber-framed and plastered, with two storeys and an attic. The ground floor features a well-preserved 19th-century shop front, likely used as a butcher's shop. Above, there is one sash window with glazing bars. The building has an old tiled roof. At the rear, there is a wing known as No. 1 Green's Yard, which dates from the early 19th century. Nos. 37 to 42 North Hill form a group with Nos. 1 to 5 Green's Yard.
