Description
45 and 46 North Hill is a 16th-century building that was remodeled in the early 18th century. It features a timber frame with plaster and consists of two and three storeys, along with cellars, and has tiled roofs. Number 46 includes an attic dormer, while the upper storey of the rear wing projects on the north side. The front of the building has a coved plaster eaves cornice for Number 46 and a moulded wood cornice for Number 45. There is a central passageway leading to the rear court, above which is a large 18th-century oriel window. Number 45 has a flight of steps with one handrail leading to its front door. Numbers 45 to 49 form a group.
