Description
19 and 20 North Hill is a 17th-century house that is timber-framed and plastered, with tiled roofs. In the 18th century, it was refronted in red brick, featuring a parapet and an 8-window range of double-hung sashes with glazing bars. The southern part of the front slightly projects forward and includes three windows, with a Venetian window on the first floor. There is a carriage entrance at the north end of the front, which has a brick arched head. At the rear, there is a large early 17th-century wing that has one transomed window with leaded casements. Both Nos 19 and 20 have modern shop fronts. The buildings from Nos 13 to 29 form a group.
