Description
These are early 19th-century buildings located on North Hill. The buildings are constructed of buff brick, with numbers 41 and 42 having painted facades. They are two storeys in height, featuring sash windows with glazing bars. Number 38 includes a carriage arch entrance leading to Green’s Yard. It also features a 19th-century shop front set within two elliptical arches. Number 39 is a residential house, while numbers 40, 41, and 42 have modern shop fronts. The roofs are slate, except for number 42, which has a modern tiled roof. Numbers 37 to 42 are designated as a group with numbers 1 to 5 on Green’s Yard.
