Description

49 North Hill is an 18th-century building with some 19th-century alterations to the front. It has two storeys and attics, featuring hipped dormers and cellars, with tiled roofs. The front is finished in stucco and has a panelled parapet. There is a three-window range of 19th-century broad sashes, with the central upper window blocked. Ornamental iron balconies adorn the first-floor windows. A central wooden doorcase is complemented by a double flight of steps that leads to the cellar entrance. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 45 to 49 North Hill.
