Description

No. 44 High Street is a 17th century or earlier, three-storey timber-framed building. It features a single-window gabled end that faces the road and has a high-pitched tiled roof. The front of the building is now cemented. The upper windows are sashes with glazing bars. On the ground floor, there is a recessed shop front that dates from the later 19th century. Nos. 42 to 50 (even) form a group.
