Description

This is a 17th-century building located adjoining the north face of the Roman Town Wall. The front of the building has been extensively altered and raised, now featuring three storeys and three windows, with a ground-floor shop. A rear wing has a projecting upper storey on its east side. Some timber framing is visible on the south wall of the main block. The building is structurally connected to and incorporates visible remains of the Roman Town Wall.
