Description

The Old Malt House is a 17th-century building with later additions, situated on Bramley Road in Silchester. It is two storeys high and has six windows facing the front. The roof is tiled. The south-east elevation exhibits exposed timber framing in the upper section, with red brick infill and other walling materials. Some of the ground-floor openings are cambered. Modern, leaded casement windows have been installed. A rear entrance provides access to the building.
