Description
No. 3 Market Street is a building dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It stands three storeys high and features two windows. The structure is made of brick, with stone cill bands on the first and second floors and brick lintels above the windows. The roof verges are finished with tumbled brick. The central part of the building has tripartite windows with late glazed sashes. On the ground floor, there is a through passage to the left and two wide shop windows flanking a two-leaf entrance, which has a modern fascia. At the rear, the building is constructed of rubble, and there is a medieval corbel head incorporated on the second floor to the right. Nos. 1 to 15 (odd) form a group, with No. 1 being of local interest.
