Description
No. 7 Market Street is a mid to late 19th-century building that features a front added to an older house. It stands three storeys tall and has three windows. The façade is made of ashlar stone and includes architraves around the windows, bracketed cills, and a moulded cornice. The ground floor is painted. On the left side, there is a shop window situated between two doors, supported by four fascia brackets. The doors are glazed, and to the right, there are plate glass windows. There is also a door leading to a through passage on the right, which is flanked by pilasters and topped with a simple entablature. This building is part of a group that includes Nos. 1 to 15 (odd), with No. 1 noted for its local interest.
