Description

18 Market Street is a building dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It has three storeys and features four windows. The front is rendered and has slight piers at the sides, with a brick chimney at the gable end. The plain sash windows have wide flat surrounds. On the ground floor, there are paired windows to the left, a blocked doorcase with a wooden pediment in the centre, and a shop front to the right that includes a glazed door. This building is part of a group with Nos 2 to 26 (even), of which Nos 2 and 10 to 16 are of local interest.
