14 Hungate is a building that likely dates from the 18th century and has been altered over time. It stands two storeys tall and features four windows, including a somewhat higher wing on the north side. The building is constructed of red brick and has a pantile roof. The near-flush-frame sash windows now only have centre glazing bars. The ground floor consists of shops with wooden cases, and the lower portion has a mutular eaves soffit. There is a lead head and downpipe on the left side. This building is part of a group with Nos 2 to 10 (even) and Nos 14 to 26 (even).
