Description

This is a 17th-century building located on the west side of Hungate. It comprises two storeys and an attic, constructed of red brick with a first-floor band. The building features a notable Dutch gable, secured with iron ties, where one tie is missing. The first floor has three windows with glazing bars set within flush frames. The roof is covered with pantiles, and a moulded eaves cornice is present. Two dormers are visible. The building has coupled entrances, each topped with an elliptical fanlight. The building is part of a group that includes numbers 2 to 14 (even), 18, 20, 20A, and 22 to 26 (even).
