Description
Oswald House is a 17th-century building with an 18th-century facade, located on Northgate. It has two storeys and an attic, featuring pedimented dormers. The structure is made of red brick, with a band and plinth, and includes Dutch gables. The ground floor has rusticated brick quoins that are chamfered. There is a wood ogee bracket cornice with a bedmould. The house has three sash windows with flush frames, glazing bars, and flat arches. A lead rainwater head and downpipe are located on the south side of the building. Additionally, there is a screen wall with a brick moulded cope and an elliptical arched entrance leading to the entrance courtyard on the right.
