The building has a Dutch gable with an arched window, and wrought iron ties in the gable display the initials ER. There are five sash windows with flush frames, glazing bars, and flat arches. Inside, there is a powder closet on the first floor. Notably, at the entrance to the cellar beneath the main building, part of the "Old Beccles harbour wall" is visible. Wooden platforms and steps have been added on each side to allow access around this feature.
