Description

16 and 18 Hungate are 18th century buildings that have undergone some alterations. They are two stories tall with an attic and constructed from red brick. The front features five sash windows with glazing bars and flush frames, along with three dormers. The roof is covered with pantiles and has a wooden eaves band. The entrance includes a four-panel door topped with an elliptical arch and a radial bar fanlight. There is also a shop front on the right with a wooden case. These buildings are part of a group that includes Nos 2 to 10 (even) and Nos 14 to 26 (even).
