Description

No. 4 Hungate is an early 18th century building that has undergone alterations and additions. It features two storeys and an attic, with two windows on the front and a two-storey, two-window wing to the south. The first floor has four windows that include glazing bars and near-flush frames. The exterior is finished in stucco that is lined and painted. The ground floor has shop windows with wooden cases. The roof is steep and covered with pantiles, with the right half featuring a small dormer and a large chimney.
