Description
Nos 2 and 4 Exchange Square are likely early 19th century buildings that stand three storeys tall. They are constructed of yellow brick and feature gauged flat arches that are painted. The buildings have a toothed eaves band and a hipped pantile roof. On the first and second floors, there are three sash windows with glazing bars, along with four blank recesses. The central entrances to the residences are coupled, each featuring a door with two vertical panels and a fanlight above. The ground floor has shops on the sides, with No 4 having a wooden case. These buildings have group value with Twyford House and Nos 1 to 11 (odd) and No 11A Blyburgate.
