Description

Nos 63 and 64 Burgate are early 19th-century buildings that stand three storeys tall and are constructed of painted brick. They feature a hipped roof covered with old tiles and have stone coping. The façade includes five sash windows set within moulded architraves, with the glazing largely intact, and a string course running along the building. There is one blank window on the second floor and a plinth at the base. The entrance is marked by a double doorcase adorned with paterae, panelled reveals, and six fielded panelled doors, accessed by three steps. Notably, No 63 has a mid-19th-century shopfront. These buildings are part of a group that includes Nos 62 to 69 and No 1 Burgate Lane.
