Description

Number 67 Burgate is a 15th-century building that stands two storeys tall with attics. It features a timber-framed structure and has an old tiled roof with one hipped dormer. The front has a continuous casement window with mullions and transoms, adorned with leaded lights. Notable exterior details include a finely carved wooden bressumer and carved brackets. The ground floor showcases a fine 18th-century curved bow window and a 16th-century carved door surround, which is decorated with a shield and scrolls in the cornices. Inside, there is an original fireplace and a central staircase. This building, along with Nos 62 to 69 Burgate, forms a group with No 1 Burgate Lane.
