Description

Nos 11 and 12 Burgate are a pair of buildings dating to the 18th century, and subsequently altered. They are constructed of grey brick with a tiled roof and red brick stacks. A wooden cornice with light brackets runs along the top of the building. The first and second floors have sash windows with just vertical sliders. The ground floor has been restored and now features a shopfront in a Neo-Georgian style. A two-storey and attic wing of red brick, with two gabled dormers in the old tiled roof, adjoins the west side of the building. Nos 11 to 16 (consec) and an annexe to No 12 form a group.
