No. 6 Hungate is an early 18th-century building that has undergone some alterations. It stands two storeys high with an attic and is finished in painted stucco. The first floor features one window with an altered casement, and the building has a rather steep roof topped with a wooden cornice. The shop front, which dates from the mid-19th century, includes a wooden case with pilasters and vertical glazing bars.
