Description

No. 8 Hungate is an 18th-century building that stands two storeys high with an attic. It is constructed from painted brick and features a rather steep slate roof with an eaves soffit. The building has four sash windows set in flush frames. The shop front, which dates from the mid-19th century, includes consoles. The entrance is highlighted by an 18th-century wooden doorcase with an oblong patterned fanlight above it.
