Description

No. 2 Hungate is an early 19th-century building constructed from yellow brick. It stands three storeys high and features three sash windows with glazing bars and flat arches. The roof is covered with slate, and there is a small eaves soffit. The ground floor has a somewhat later shop front made of wood, which includes a central entrance and an additional entrance to the left. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 2 to 14 (even), Nos 18, 20, 20A, and Nos 22 to 26 (even).
