Description

22 Hungate is an early 19th century building featuring two storeys and an attic, topped with a slate roof and eaves soffit. The structure is constructed of red brick and has gauged flat arches above wide sash windows that include glazing bars. There are added cast iron guards at the first floor. The building has later entrances, including one on a splay and a shop entrance to the right, which has a wooden case with enriched consoles. This property is part of a group that includes Nos 2 to 14 (even), Nos 18, 20, 20A, and Nos 22 to 26 (even).
