Description

Church House is an early 19th century building located at No 18 Brook Street. It is two storeys high and features a double front with six windows. The building is constructed from gault brick and has a slate roof. There is a band between the storeys and a small stone cornice below the parapet. The recessed sash windows, which have glazing bars, are topped with gauged flat brick arches. The entrance is highlighted by a stucco doorcase with enriched pilasters that support an entablature, leading to a six-panelled door. Steps at the entrance are flanked by a wrought iron handrail. Church House is part of a group with Nos 14 to 22 (even).
