Description

Hilary House is an early 19th-century building located at No 16 Brook Street. It is two storeys high with a basement and features a double fronted design with three windows. The roof is tiled, and the building is constructed from gault brick, which is complemented by a brick dentil eaves cornice. The windows are square-headed sash types, adorned with stucco voussoirs, keys, and glazing bars. The entrance consists of a square-headed doorway with a fanlight above and a panelled door. To the left, there is a carriageway with a painted rusticated segmental arch. Hilary House is included in the listing for its group value, as it is part of a collection of buildings from Nos 14 to 22 (even).
