Description
28 Fishpool Street is an early 19th-century building that stands two storeys tall and features three irregularly placed windows. The exterior is made of painted brick and has a low-pitched slate roof with deep eaves soffits. The windows are recessed sash types with glazing bars, and the brickwork includes gauged, shallow segmental arches above them. Notably, the right-hand first-floor window has a shallow pointed arch with "gothick" glazing bars. There is a carriageway on the ground floor beneath the windows, and the entrance door is topped with a bracketed hood featuring a pediment. The building also has a brick plinth. This property is part of a group that includes Nos 24 to 46 (even) and Nos 50 to 54 (even).
